It all started with an empty frame and my paper obsession.

Using 5 star wood pieces, apply one side of each star to a Memento Luxe Wedding Dress Ink Pad to pick up the color, give it a couple of layers.
Using a fantastix, apply Delicata Gold all around each of the stars. Let dry well. Apply Creative Medium Shimmer to each star for a bit of sparkle.
Using a glue gun, adhere one end of each wire to the back of the stars.

Punch 4 stockings, brush top of each stocking with glue and pour glitter over stocking top, let dry

Punch 4 trees from various cardstock, spray with Shimmer Spritz, edge with Memento Luxe Tuxedo Black.

Using various cardstock, cut tags in a few sizes, spray with Shimmer Spritz, stamp with holiday images, add bakers twine as tho they will be tied to a package.

Cut 4 strips of the same paper, 2x 8″ x 1.25″ and 2x 10″ x 1.25″.
Edge one long side of each strip with the diamond scallop punch.
Apply strips to the frame with adhesive and let dry completely.

Cover the paper on the frame with Creative Medium Shimmer – you’ll want to use 3 coats, letting the paper dry completely before adding the next coat.
Using the Delicata gold ink pad, run along the inside of the scallop just to cover the edge with gold ‘trim’. Use a fantastix brush to get in between the scallops.

The Authentique ‘Glistening’ paper I used had this unbelievably cute girl printed on the paper so I lined the strip up with the frame to capture her sweet face.

Adhere the background to the back of the frame
Adhere the stockings evenly to a piece of bakers twine and adhere the bakers twine to each upper corner of the inside of the frame
Using a glue gun, glue each of the wires with stars to the base of the inside of the frame, lining them up closely in the center to give the bouquet effect
Gently add a piece of ribbon in a bow gathering the wires together a few inches from the base
Adhere the trees to the background with dimensional tape
Adhere button detail to any empty space
Arrange the tags in the bottom of the frame and adhere to background

It is really one of those projects where there is no ‘wrong’ arrangement. You can make it your own by adding person detail!

Tis the season
