The Reception – End of the Night

Since this was a destination wedding all of the guests were returning to hotels at the end of the evening. The Bride and Groom had special sweets bags for everyone & these tongue in cheek bottles of water.

Here’s how I made them.

Supplies: Bottles of water, individual packets of Advil, black cardstock, white cardstock, ‘Thank You’ stamp, circle punch (a bit larger than cap of water bottle), score-board, adhesive, Versafine Onyx Black ink stamp

Cut an 81/2 x 3 1/4″ piece of black cardstock

Score 2″ from either end, I used a score board to add a crease but you can easily just fold them as well

Use 1 1/4′ circle punch to make the hole at one end (measure the cap of the bottle you choose first and adjust as necessary)

Fold opposite end and adhere sides to make the pocket

Stamp ‘Thank You’ on white card stock and trim to about the size of the words, adhere to pocket

Hang on bottle of water

They really looked cute all lined up on a table by the door!

You can use this same method to make cute favors with individual packets of lemonade – great for picnics! or perhaps a bit of humor hanging the Advil on a bottle of beer.  The options are endless!

Enjoy!
